Back by popular demand, the hugely entertaining Budapest Café Orchestra’s traditional folk and gypsy music from across the Balkans and Russia will make you want to book a holiday along the Danube!

Led by jazz violin superstar Christian Garrick, the BCO repertoire includes Klezmer, Romanian Doinas, Hungarian Czadas and beautiful ballads evoking vivid images of Tzigane fiddle maestros, Budapest café life and gypsy campfires - with a few surprises along the way.

Embraceable Ella

Acclaimed jazz vocalist, Joanna Eden presents a loving tribute to her vocal hero - Ella Fitzgerald. From A Tisket A Tasket, which brought Ella to fame in the forties with the Chick Webb Orchestra, to later songbook album classics like Cole Porter's Every Time We Say Goodbye and Gershwin's Someone to Watch Over Me, Eden mines the rich seam of Fitzgerald's unrivalled canon with humility, style and obvious deep affection.

Joanna is accompanied by her world-class band: Simon Brown - piano, George Double - drums, and Arnie Somogyi - bass.

Thames Philharmonia – Sibelius: three great works

Finlandia, a rousing musical expression of national identity, sets the scene for Thames Philharmonia’s celebration of the great Finnish composer, Sibelius. Talented young violinist Hee-jin Kwon, a rising star in her home country of South Korea, joins the orchestra as soloist in Sibelius’ hauntingly beautiful violin concerto. The concert will conclude with the composer’s uplifting Fifth Symphony, which progresses from an optimistic opening clarion call to an unforgettable triumphant finale.

The Bratislava Hot Serenaders with the Serenader Sisters

Back for their 4th UK tour, with this their only London date, this simply outstanding 21 piece internationally acclaimed Big Band ensemble includes multi-reed players, 3 violins plus the beautiful Serenader Sisters trio.

Led by brilliant trumpet player Juraj Bartos, the Serenaders play the music of Paul Whiteman, Ellington, the Goldkette Orchestra, early Basie and the famous Jack Hylton and Carroll Gibbons orchestras. It’s excitement all the way from musicians ranked amongst the world’s best, playing with amazing authenticity.

The Landmark Choirs Annual Concert

  • Train: Waterloo to Teddington (33 minutes), then just over 10 minutes' signposted walk
  • Bus: R68, 281, 285 all stop outside the Centre; 33 via Waldegrave Road
  • Tube: District line to Richmond and then bus R68
  • Cycle: on-site parking for up to 12 bicycles
  • Car: no parking on site but free parking in surrounding streets.

How to Book…

  • Online: where indicated.
  • In person or by phone: Box Office open Monday – Friday, 9.30am – 4pm (and from 1pm on the day of weekend performances). Telephone bookings (card only): 020 8977 7558.
  • By post: state the event and number of tickets required and enclose an SAE and cheque payable to ‘Landmark Arts Centre’ to our address.

Please note…

  • Booking fees: if you wish to have your tickets posted and haven’t supplied an SAE, a 60p postage fee applies.
  • Refund & Exchange Policy: no refund of tickets or class bookings will be made unless the event or class is full and we are able to re-sell your ticket/class place, in which case an admin fee of £1 will be deducted from the amount refunded.
