Thames Youth Orchestra

Founded in 2005 and based in Kingston Upon Thames, the Thames Youth Orchestra is a registered charity and comprises 80 young musicians from local schools. Its ethos is defined by a challenging, adventurous approach to programming, combining well-established orchestral favourites with 20th century rarities and new commissions.

This concert will feature such favourites as Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, the Háry János Suite by Kodály, Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite and Stravinksy’s The Firebird Suite.

Martin Simpson – Trails and Tribulations

World renowned guitarist, singer and songwriter Martin Simpson released his 20th solo album ‘Trails & Tribulations’ in late 2017. A guitarist of formidable talent, he has been recognised as one of the world’s finest fingerstyle guitarists and a master of both acoustic and slide guitar. Equally at home playing English and American folk, blues and his own compositions, his solo shows bear witness to an artist at the very top of his game.

Paddington’s First Concert

Chamberhouse Winds perform Herbert Chappell’s delightful piece Paddington’s First Concert, specially arranged for wind quintet and narrator, which follows Paddington to his first classical concert - with disastrous results!

Bring your own bear along too and enjoy other fun works for families including Concerto for Hosepipe and The Teddy Bears’ Picnic.

Ages: 5 yrs +. Running time: 60 mins.

Thames Philharmonia’s spring gala concert presents a feast of much-loved music from the world of opera. The programme will include Wagner’s rousing overture from Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg and the passionate Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana by Mascagni, together with famous operatic arias by Mozart, Puccini, Donizetti, Bellini and Richard Strauss, performed by five sparkling young singers. Indulge yourself in an evening of drama, romance and glorious music.

The music of David Bowie as you’ve never heard it before. Following sell out seasons at Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival, 'NME Male Vocalist of the Year' Oliver Darley brings his own inimitable style to the music of this iconic artist. With only jazz pianist Chad Lelong for accompaniment, the two strip back Bowie’s most recognisable hits to present a unique interpretation of great British songwriting.

Teddington Choral Society

They will perform two of Haydn’s joyful and uplifting Masses: The Saint Nicholas Mass and the Theresienmesse with professional soloists and chamber ensemble, ensuring a superb and entertaining evening.

Maddy Prior in Concert with Hannah James and Giles Lewin

Over the course of her remarkable career, Maddy Prior has made it her mission to work with exceptional musicians – both within Steeleye Span and beyond. To that noted list she has added Hannah James (Lady Maisery) and Giles Lewin (Bellowhead / Carnival).

The trio perform songs from their two albums plus highlights from Maddy’s career in a daring acoustic style that enhances one of this country’s finest voices.

  • Train: Waterloo to Teddington (33 minutes), then just over 10 minutes' signposted walk
  • Bus: R68, 281, 285 all stop outside the Centre; 33 via Waldegrave Road
  • Tube: District line to Richmond and then bus R68
  • Cycle: on-site parking for up to 12 bicycles
  • Car: no parking on site but free parking in surrounding streets.

  • Online: where indicated
  • In person or by phone: Box Office open Monday – Friday, 9.30am – 4pm (and from 1pm on the day of weekend performances). Telephone bookings (card only): 020 8977 7558
  • By post: send an SAE and a cheque payable to ‘Landmark Arts Centre’ to our address.

Please note…

  • Booking fees: a £1 fee applies to all card transactions; a 50p postage fee applies if you wish to have your tickets posted and haven’t supplied an SAE.
  • Refunds: we cannot refund tickets or class bookings unless the event or class is full and we are able to re-sell the ticket / class place. An admin. fee of £1 will be deducted from the refund.

  • Concessions: available to LAC members and others as noted for the event, workshop or class.
