Children's Classes & Activities

Supervision. Children’s classes at the Landmark Arts Centre are fully supervised by professionally trained and CRB checked tutors. For more details, please get in touch with the “Contact” for the class.

Other family-friendly activities.

  • Have a baby under 12 months old and enjoy stand-up? Bring Your Own Baby Comedy runs monthly, or so. See the events diary.
  • Enjoy ballet? The enchanting The Nutcracker runs for a couple of performances in December.

Summer Hols. Creative Candle-Making

Children will make hand-poured, fragranced candles using individual melters, adding dyes and oils. Then, whilst their candles set, decorate holders for them with paint, glitter and gems.

Workshop Handmade Soap Making Workshop

Saturday 10 November 2018

10am – 4pm
Ages:
10 years to adults (under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult)

Learn the basics of melt and pour soap making. Experiment with colour mixing to create large block soaps with embeds that can be sliced and cut in a variety of ways and try cutting out small coloured and fragranced guest soaps. Watch demonstrations of layering, modelling and scrolling techniques and then express your own individual creativity.

All soaps will be gift packaged at the end of the session ready to give as gifts or to keep!

Travel Options

  • Train: Waterloo to Teddington (33 minutes), then just over 10 minutes' signposted walk
  • Bus: R68, 281, 285 all stop outside the Centre; 33 via Waldegrave Road
  • Tube: District line to Richmond and then bus R68
  • Cycle: on-site parking for up to 12 bicycles
  • Car: no parking on site but free parking in surrounding streets.

  • Online: where indicated.
  • In person or by phone: Box Office open Monday – Friday, 9.30am – 4pm (and from 1pm on the day of weekend performances). Telephone bookings (card only): 020 8977 7558.
  • By post: state the event and number of tickets required and enclose an SAE and cheque payable to ‘Landmark Arts Centre’ to our address.

Please note…

  • Booking fees: if you wish to have your tickets posted and haven’t supplied an SAE, a 60p postage fee applies.
  • Refund & Exchange Policy: no refund of tickets or class bookings will be made unless the event or class is full and we are able to re-sell your ticket/class place, in which case an admin fee of £1 will be deducted from the amount refunded.
